Warren G. Cole (November 30, 1922 – February 16, 2010)

Spartanburg – Warren G. Cole, age 87, beloved husband of Mae Rist Cole, passed away February 16, 2010.

Warren was a son of the late Elmer and Marjorie Evans Cole. He was a member of DeFuniak Elks Club, The First Baptist Church of DeFuniak Springs, FL, and he faithfully served in the United States Army.

In addition to his wife, Warren is survived by a daughter; Marjorie Roberts of Moore, a brother; Donald Cole and his wife Mary of Towacco, NJ, a sister; Milliscent Fisher and her husband Kenneth of Oak Ridge, NJ, three grandchildren; Jon Pedersen and his wife Ruby of Toccoa, GA, Daniel Pedersen and his wife Michelle of Lyman, Cody Roberts of Spartanburg.

A celebration of Warren’s life with military honors will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2010, at 4:00 pm at Dunbar Funeral Home conducted by the Reverend Hub Blankenship.

    Mae, Just read about Warren in
    today’s local paper. We’re so
    sorry! Wish we had kept better in touch. Both of you were very special people in our lives abd we love you dearly.
