Frances Suder Richard (January 1, 1956 – February 22, 2010)

Spartanburg – Frances Suder Richard, age 54, beloved wife of John Clifton Richard, passed away February 22, 2010.

Mrs. Richard was born on January 1, 1956 in Levittown, PA to John Suder and the late Barbara Floyd Suder. She was previously employed with Adidas in the purchasing department; she was the secretary for the Temple B’Nai Israel and was a member of the Catholic Church of Jesus Our Risen Savior.

In addition to her husband Mrs. Richard is survived by two sons, Patrick A. Roberts and John Travis Richard both of Spartanburg; a daughter, Tonya Elton of Forest City, NC and two brothers, John Suder and his wife Pam of Boiling Springs, SC and Steve Suder of Phoenix, AZ. She was blessed with four grandchildren. Mrs. Richard was predeceased by a brother, Philip Suder and a sister, Barbara S. May-Olsheski.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 2:45 pm on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Emmanuel Baptist Church with a celebration of her following at 3:00 pm conducted by Reverend Frankie Taylor.

In remembrance of Mrs. Richard memorials may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church Building Fund, 3000 Stone Station Road, Roebuck, SC 29376.

    I was shocked and saddened to learn of Fran’s death. I worked with her at Westinghouse several years ago. My prayers will be with the family in the days ahead. May sweet memories of Fran comfort you in the coming times of sorrow.

    John and Pam, We were shocked to death to hear about Franny. Our prayers will be with you at this time of need and days to come. Just try to always remember the good times, it helps. Love you Sue and Ed

    I just learned or France’s passing earlier today. It was a shock. Although we have not been close in many years, the memories of our teen years will always be with me.
    My condolences to the family.
