Spartanburg – Elma L. Brown, wife of James “Jim” C. Brown, died July 25, 2010.
Mrs. Brown was a member of First Baptist Church of Spartanburg and the Joy Sunday School Class.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Steve Brown and a daughter, Starr Jameson both of Spartanburg and a sister, Peggy Henderson of Charleston, SC. Mrs. Brown was blessed with five grandchildren; Jackie Wampler, Chris Quinn, Katie Crosby, Stephen Brown all of Spartanburg and Holly Smith of Brookings, OR and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm today, July 27, 2010 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens conducted by Reverend Bill Adams and Reverend Sal Barone.
In remembrance of Mrs. Brown, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Helping Center, 250 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29306.

Steve and Starr, I was so sorry to hear about your Mother. We are never ready to give them up. The next year of anniversaries will be sad and hard to endure, but know that a Mothers Love is never gone. Let her be with you always in memories. Give your Dad my best.
