Moore – Anthony w. Bassano, died Saturday, July 17, 2010 at his home.
Born in Olean, NY, Mr. Bassano was the son of Louis A. and Lena A. Bassano and the late Loretta Rayan. He honorably served in the U.S. Army in the Natick, MA, research lab. Mr. Bassano attended Bishop Walsh High School, West Chester State University, PA, and St. Bonaventure University, Olean, NY. Formerly of MA, he moved to Spartanburg six years ago and worked at Vic Bailey Ford and Dave Edwards Toyota.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Bassano is survived by a son, David Bassano of MA, and his sisters, Lora A. Bassano and Melody A. Allen.
Family will receive friends, Wednesday, July 21, 2010 from 4:00-4:45 P.M. at Dunbar Funeral Home. Funeral Service will immediately follow at 5:00 P.M in Dunbar Funeral Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bishop Walsh Academy, 208 N. 24th St., Olean, NY 14760.
