To the friends and family of Bratton DeLoach: I am truly saddened to hear about Bratton’s passing. We worked together at his first job in Florence where we quickly became friends. We laughed often, shared stories, and tried to inspire one another. I am so sorry that Bratton’s pain was so great. My heart goes out to his son, family, and other friends who will also miss this man with the welcoming smile and warm personalilty. What an incredible loss for all who knew him.
Dear Mrs. deLoach,
Please know how sorry I am to hear of Bratton’s death; I haven’t really absorbed the fact that he is gone from our “sight”…but I do know that he is just as large in life and laughter as he always was…just around a corner waiting for the rest of us. There is unbroken continuity.
What a good friend he was to me, and how well he kept up with everyone! He’s left a rich legacy of great memories to share. He will be missed, and most certainly…never forgotten.
Bratton had a huge heart, and I know how much he loved his family. I pray for your strength and peace during this time of loss.
With love,
Jeannie Bouton
I would like to express my deepest sympathy on the passing of Bratton. I was a fraternity brother at Clemson and he was fondly known to us as “Boog”. I was known as Dick and we were pledge brothers. Boog was a great guy with a big smile and a huge heart. My condolences to Dell and family. Dr. William B. Edwards Newberry, S.C.
Bratton was a wonderful man, unconditionaly caring. I feel very blessed to have known him and am glad to have called him a friend. So sorry for your loss.
So sorry to hear of your loss. Bratton was a very special person with so much to offer. Wish he could have found peace for all of his pain but that was not to be. He is in God’s hands now – a better place for him.

I just heard the news last night and I am saddened and shocked beyond belief. Braaton and I worked together at Contemporary Mortgage in Orlando. I was from Atlanta and we often laughed about the Varsity’s “walking dog”….I surprised him with the “walking dog” I had snuck on the airplane while I had visited my family that weekend in Atlanta. I had it waiting for him the next day in the refrigerator. From that day forward we became the dearest of friends. I moved back to Atlanta and we remained in contact all these years which is about 12 yrs. I was so happy when he told me he was moving back to his hometown. I just want to say to the family what an incredible man he was and how incredibly lucky I was to have spent time with him. I am truly sorry for your loss!
